A3 Photo Print of SFA Tank signed by Super Furry Animals

A few words from the photographer Rolant Dafis:

" It was 1996 and very soon after Fuzzy Logic was released. I do remember being somewhere, possibly Water Rats in Kings Cross, a few months before when the idea of having a tank was being discussed with the a Creation person, I think he said something along the lines of ‘maybe a furry gun would work’.
And then we were in a Beatle car festival in an airfield converted for drag racing somewhere close to Stratford upon Avon. I think this photo was taken in the middle of the first day as people were arriving and before the festival filled up, there were a lot of customised VW arriving and driving past this big blue tank with Welsh and English stuff written on it and half covered in a vast stretch of pink and white camouflage. We did some band shots at this time with the camo as background and also a sequence with them standing on to. I then stayed with the tank as it got dark and things started to get going really well, I was taking documentary images of all ensuing scenes, I guess all the band had finished playing and this was the focus of attention. By the middle of the night there were hundreds of people dancing on and around the tank and it carried on into the early hours… "
